The prophet may the peace and blessings be upon him said''People are as equal as the teeth of a comb''

and also said''None of you is a true believer until he wishes for his fellow man what he wishes for his own self''
How can we apply these glorious meanings in our daily life?

The second hadeeth I find self explanatory ... materialists want more and do not want others to have similar to them. So they keep piling up fancy things .. then you find them buying weird piantings or statues suposedly unique etc... so that no one else owns what they have but a muslim is fair and not an egoist. If you have a nice ipod, you pray for a muslim fellow who wanted one to have same, if you are close to that person, lend that thing etc...

The First hadeeth, i will have to refrain from commenting until i'm sure it is really attributed to the prophet pbuh, even though the meaning is good. On that, can you please give the refence so that I can learn more about this hadeeth and its meaning inshaAllah?

Finally, keep in mind that the scholars have explained to us using Quran and other sunnah, what a particular hadeeth means, in case it is open for personal interpretations that will drive away the person from what was really intended by the prophet pbuh. that is why also, i'd like to find out the source

JazakAllah kheir
