Right, I take your own words :

The problem is

- Diodorus Siculus ( 1st century BEFORE CHRIST ) wrote that
- Jesus is a Prophet of Allah, and never put a foot in Mecca
- Mecca was cleared by Mohammad

Why Jesus didn't put a foot in Mecca with all that pagan idols in there ?

As far as I know that is one of your pillars

Dear Delta, you don't have to put your foot there. You should consider yourself extremely lucky if you do.
I will pray for you that one day you will put your foot there.
I think the reason you are visiting this website is that you are struggling within yourself for searching the truth as you are not content with your current beliefs.
Allah swt grants hidayah (shows him/her the right path) to whom he loves before the last breath leaves your body.
please, make it easy for yourself to find the truth and not more difficult.

I now understand that the pilgrimage to Makkah is only a obligation for those who are physically and financially able to do so

maybe all that prophets didn't have enough money like me

Most prophets were quite poor and didnt really care about money that much.

Dear Delta! Allah swt has ordered those who accept islam as their way of life to make Ka'aba, the mosque in Makkah, their Qibla (a direction to face to while praying to Allah swt). Did you know that Masjidul Aqsa is muslims' second Qibla. There was a time when Allah swt ordered the prophet Muhammad saws to face Masjidul Aqsa (which is in Jerrusalem, palestine) while praying.
You are missing an important point here. Muslims follow what has been ordered by Allah swt. Prophet Ibrahim alaihissalam (Abraham) and Ismail as (Ishamil) were ordred by Allah swt to build the Ka'ba.
Muslims follow the sunnah (ways) of prophet Ibrahim when they are going on pilgrimage to Makkah.

I hope it cleared some points.

Thank you, didn't know that, did Allah changed afterwards His mind to face our prayers to Mecca ? Can Allah change His mind and thoughts as a Human ?
