Salaam,

Delta, do not call yourself any names. It is very difficult to communicate using just language. We are all trying to help each other. Right now I am confused.
Would you be so kind as to restate what it was that you originally wanted to ask. Please keep in mind Muslims respect the Bible.
You made a reference to an apostle...which one? Jesus's ministry was limited to a very small geographical area. Most of the disciples remained near the same area. Many stayed together and formed the Coptic Church. Bear in mind that St. Paul took over the teachings and formulated a system to spread the faith. I say this because he was not a historian. He did not study the Jewish history. He did not spend time understanding the messages of the Prophets. He barely understood the Gospel. His influence and teachings are the letters in the New Testament. His teachings were how to live in a Christian community. He rejected the diciples.
As usual forgive me..and let us know the original question.

Thanks, for your answers

I now understand that the pilgrimage to Makkah is only a obligation for those who are physically and financially able to do so

maybe all that prophets didn't have enough money like me

Hello, i guess it's my turn to add a bit maybe? I hope this comes out alright... insha'allah.

Each Prophet and Messenger came to a certain people. Whether they be reffered to in one way, like the Children of Isreal, the People of Madyan, or just generally by their Prophets, i.e. the People of Lut (AS). Muhammad :saw: came as a Last Final Messenger to Allah (swt). He was the Seal of the Prophets, and none would come after him. Therefore, he :saw: was sent to all of Mankind, from his time onward.

Before him, to each people Allah (swt) sent the Prophets with guidance. To each people such guidance came differently and in different forms. Each had to of course accept the main tenet of Monotheism, and submit to the One Almighty God, Allah (swt). In this they followed Islam, and were Muslims. From the people of Adam (AS), to Sheeth, Idris, Nuh, Salih, Lut, Ibrahim, Ismail, Ishaaq... and onwards to Muhammad :saw: they were all Muslims in that sense of the word. However, they did not all have the same obligations. Allah ordered upon each person, and group of people how much He knew they could bear. Each Prophet and Messenger came confirming the same message, but bearing a new set of rules and guidlines, which would replace what the Prophet before them brought. When Muhammad :saw: came with the Final Message, the Holy Qur'aan. EVERYTHING was set. There would be no more changes. The obligations, the prohibitions, the guidlines were all set forth for the entire mankind to come. It was the final message, and none would come to replace it. When Isa (alayhis salaam) will return before the Day of Judgement, he will follow the Qur'aan and abide by the Shar'ii rulings and establish a community based on it.

You see, before the time of Muhammad :saw:, there really was no Hajj. Muhammad :saw: taught the people through his Sunnah, how to perform Hajj. It became a Pillar of Islam, and though some actions may date farther back into history... it only became a duty at that time and not before. So the Prophets of before time had no reason to set foot in Makkah.

I'm sorry, I hope that made some sense. :(

Nothing, I'm a idiot

sorry me

Course not! :) If one became an Idiot by asking questions, then the worlds smartest people would probably be the most idiotic. Without asking, you can never learn.

take care, and May Allah guide you.

Dear Delta

Maybe you should know the history of the kaabah.

1- Before Adam was sent to the earth , Angels on earth used to worship Allah
in the house( the Kaabah).

2- When Adam came to the earth, Angels told him of the location of the Kaabah and he prayed here.

The house was then in time lost, Some say that it happened during the flood at the time of Prophet Noah.

3- During the time of Prophet Abraham, he was instructed to rebuilt this ancient house.

4- The kaabah survived. The followers of Prophet Abraham initially followed being a muslim/ Hanif but slowly forgot about the oneness of Allah. The filled the kaabah with idols.

5- The kaabah was rebuilt* in the time of Prophet Muhammad(p.b.u.h) and the Prophet Muhammad(p.b.u.h) took part in its construction.

*= As I have told you before, there are sometimes floods in Makkah , the building needs to be rebuilt. Also woth time any building would need repair/reconstruction.

The kaabah was the FIRST place of worship.

As for Prophet Isa(Jesus) he was not sent to the whole of mankind. He was for a certain people for a certain time. Anyway It might be of your interest that the Prophet Muhammad(p.b.u.h) saw in his dream, prophet Jesus near the kaabah:

Sahih Bukhari:
Volume 9, Book 88, Number 242:

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:

Allah's Apostle said. "While I was sleeping, I saw myself (in a dream) performing Tawaf around the Ka'ba. Behold, I saw a reddish-white man with lank hair, and water was dropping from his head. I asked, "Who is this?' They replied, 'The son of Mary.' ....."

I'm still a lot of confused

Abraham and Ishmael never put foot in Mecca, just because it is impossible, i.e., It is geographically impossible.

Abraham was in Beersheba. How could he, a hundred-year-old man, with a slave girl and a small child have endured a trip to Mecca, nearly one thousand miles away and separated by rugged mountains and virtually impassible desert ?!

The Empty Quarter, the most harsh place on earth, How could a little child 3 years old, and a very old man pass through this desert ?

Abraham and Ishmael would have had superpowers

A OLD man and a little child traveling thousands of miles into harsh desert and montains, How could they ? How could they ?

Little wonder the Islamic scriptures don’t bother to tell us how they accomplished this impossible voyage...

Regading life of Prophet Abraham (PBUH) and his migration to Mecca from southern Iraq, plz refer to follwoing link

http://www.itsislam.net/articles/prophet_ibrahim.asp

Also, the distance from Southern Iraq to palestine is about 800km and from palestine to Mecca area also somewhat similar (i roughly measured on googleEarth). For prophet abraham to travel this distance (specially due to compulsion or as part of his duty) within his life time of 175 years was difficult but not improbable or impossible.

I personally knew 100+ man who use to walk from a village to city (few km distance) and did not used any transportation. He had good eye sight and his teeth had started to grow for 3rd time. Although he had some hearing problems.

In olden time people were physically and mentally strong and had much lesser activities. Even in present world we can find many examples who shows travelling large distance on foot is not as impossible as one may think:
