Thank you so much for your attention on the disaster happened in a part of my country, There are 90 people died so far, ....it's so sad....
Perhaps we have done so many sins that made this calamity befallen on us
Like what Umar ibn Khathtab said: that every calamty happened because of our sins.

Same here sister and I was bout to say the world is small but u took my words lol. But yeah I noticed it was mostly Shias from the south and even the friend I had from there was also a shia from Najaf but he was closer to the Sunnah than many. But when I went up there that's all I saw was shias and even here in atl is mostly Shia Iraqis from the south and I have limited relations with them too. I kinda had a feeling it may have been Nebraska when I saw your post and it said small town. The only other place I know of with Iraqis was Nevraska besides Detroit, and few other places. We are a rarity but found all over lol. Jazak Allahu khar and it is always nice talking to u sister.

lol MashaAllah I been there before and I been to Omaha which is not to far from there. I lived in Kansas for over 10 years before I moved to Atlanta in 2004. I am familar with that area. There are Iraqis is Nebraska I was shocked when I first went there. Subhan Allah, thats crazy lol and it brings back memories. Jazak Allahu kharun for the reply, and I hope all is well.

Can you possibly point me to some scholars who have said its permissable to remove hijaab but remain modest in extreme cases? I didn't know that.

We have enjoined on man Kindness to his parents: in pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth. The carrying of the (child) to his weaning is (a period of) thirty months. At length, when he reaches the age of full strength and attains forty years, he says "O my Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou hast bestowed upon me, and upon both my parents, and that I may work righteousness such as Thou mayest approve; and be gracious to me in my issue.
