I don't think you should bring it up at all, however if the topic arises try hard to educate her. We should never try to 'convince' anyone to join Islam.

Just a quick question on how you all feel about converts who change their name to names more commonly associated with Muslims? For example, a man named Johnathan changing his name to Muhammad, or a woman named Tina changing her name to Fatima, because they feel that these are 'Muslim' names...

We should all definitely take an active stand in making this a more public issue.

It's always interesting to see how people feel about Islam, and it seems that the fear of it grows constantly. Makes you kind of wonder where these people live that they're being fed such ideas by the media... What can we do though but invite them to the deen? :)
