I just want to clarify, isn't it the duty of a man to dress modestly too? and to avoid attracting the sexual attention of women? Hijab is not therefore confined to women?. I'd appreciate quoranic quote/hadith. Thanks S

Yes it's still something that I'm only gradually adapting to, most of society does involve relatively free intermingling of the sexes, isn't easy to extract oneself from this while still participating.

I've realised that what I was looking for was the Co-existence project , it's in the UK . I think there needs to be dialogue between Islam, other faiths and those of no faith, we all share the world. There needs to be greater communication in the interests of a better present and future.

Could anyone provide me with links to such? Was watching the Islam Channel and a very enlightened discussion between people of various faiths or none on promoting respectful co-existence. I'd be grateful for any assistance. Thanks S

at what point does questioning become disbelief?. I feel that in many cases questioning can increase understanding and improved actions, but I don't want to question the authenticity of Islam.

So to have homosexual thoughts is not a sin? It is only a sin if the individual acts upon them? why do people, created by Allah, in Allah's imagine, have sinful thoughts? Is it Shaatan's work?
