  • Oh forgive me for assuming then, akhy! I wanted some words translated... But khayr insha'Allah!

Wa Iyyaak! Aameen to your Du`aa. May He give you the same and more! ^.^ Take Care
Asalaamu Alaikum, no sister i am not Somali but they are still my brothers and sisters as are all Muslims around the world. Muslims are one body. If one part is in pain and trouble then the whole body should feel it. So we should try our best to take care of every part of the Muslim body inshallah.

Jazakallahu khayran for your beautiful dua. May Allah give you thr best of this world and the hereafter. Ameen
    As-salaamu `alaik warahmatullah!

Hope you're in the best of health and eemaan! Quick question akhy, do you speak Somali? I just stumbled upon your thread about the drought happening up there..

Late Ramadhaan Kareem to you and your family! May Allaah SWT accept our fast. And May He reward you with much good in dunya and aakhirah for your beneficial threads.

PS. It'd be best if you replied to me here(on ur page) rather than vm-Ing me insha'allah!
Yes i try to spread my articles and posts to as many forums as i can in the limited time i have. Please use the links to the Sunnah collection in your blog and spread to your family, friends and contacts and let us revive the Sunnah!
    :wasalam:
    Yes :)
Jazak'Allah khair for accepting my friend request.
I recognized your threads here just the username is different so I thought to check.
Asalaamu Alaikum, yes of course one can do as many as they want to do for these are voluntary fasts and the reward is huge. Also try to worship as much as possible in the next 9 nights including the night before Eid day as the worship of these nights bring such immense rewards and are most pleasing to Allah not to mention that good deeds are multiplied many times over during these 10 days and nights. You can ask me whatever you like so please do not think you are bothering me as i am more than willing to assist you in anyway that i can inshallah. Ma'asalaam
    ANOTHER QUESTION...
since I missed the first day of fasting (today) is it ok to do eight days??
    sorry to bother you......
No problem my sister. Also let others and your friends and family know so that they do not miss out on these huge rewards. When there is a big sale on in the shops people rush to it to grab the bargains. The same analogy applies here where there is a huge sale on and so many good deeds up for grabs so let us grab them whilst we are still alive. The good news is the stock does'nt run out it all depends on us and how much energy we put into these 10 days and nights.
ohh, I understand now.....jazaka'Allaah khair. I think it would have being the same here in the US. I didnt know it and was confused as to what I am supposed to do, may Allaah reward you for the clarification! ameeen
Wa Alaikum Asalaam, The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah including Eid Ul Adha are most blessed and Allah also mentions these days at the beginning of Surah Fajr and also swears upon them which shows their significance.

The first ten nights of this month are the nights to be worshipped and the first 9 days are the days to be fasted because the tenth day if Eid ul Adha and of course it is forbidden to fast on Eid.

The day before Eid ul Adha which is the 9th of Dhul Hijjah is the day of Arafaat and that is the most blessed of the 9 days to fast.

In the UK today was the first day of Dhul Hijjah and last night was the first night so there are 9 nights still remaining for us to worship and 8 days remaining for us to fast and gain IMMENSE rewards. If one does not fast on these days then one should at least fast on the 9th which is th day of Arafaat. This will be next Monday in the UK and Eid Ul Adha will be Tuesday inshallah. Hope that clarifies things.
    assalaamu alaikum,

just a quick question, I am confused about the day of Arafat fasting and the ten days?? what is the difference between them?? how are they similar? I am really confused!! thanks for your help!
    Assalamu alykum brother.
