Salaam Alaikum ,
I never posted any of my poetry before, actually the last time I wrote a poem it was not Islamic at all, not bad, but not Islamic... So i'm sharing my most recent poem with you. This poem could be about a revert, or even a muslim raised person who got back in touch with Islam. Hope you enjoy

Bismillah hir rahman nir raheem
her heart is beating so rapidly, she knows the truth is there
the book in her hand is giving her a scare
undeniable statements, makes sense, its fair
can you hear her heart beating?
as she turns each page her mind is turning too
she believes every word, her thoughts are tilting
could this book be the real deal? the knowldge has spilt in
could my sins have a consequence, she thinks to her self
maybe she utters, ill put this back on the shelf
can she handle the truth, or is it too hard
her opinions expanded, expanded so far
will she hear her heart beating
while she waits in her grave, a believer of Islam, Allahs Slave
La ilaha ilaAllah, will she live the words of her shahadah
auzu bilahe minesh shaytaannir rajeem, can she stay brave
her heart is beating, can you hear it, Allah can hear
as she recites surha fatihah on her prayer mat in fear
