Assalam Allaykum everyone. I would like to ask a question....

I find it hard to get things done during the day like quran recitation, reading islamic books......

Well anyway can anbody post like a schedule I can do throughout the day to worship Allah. Becuz I usually don't get things done during the day. I really find it hard to stay away from the t.v. I know there is so much filth on it. But i sorda get "addicted'',lol. Also is there any tips I can use to stay away from the t.v..

Here's an example you can say of my type of schedule:Revise quran, memorize 3 verses, read islam books, clean house.

Also there is like 0 good deeds I can find in my house, except reading beneficial books, and cleaning, lol.

sorry for the essay,lol.

jazaakAllahu khair for any replies.

I dont think im gonna be of help but here i go....

Assalamualaikum

Anyone can post a schedule but discipline has to be upheld and instil.

regarding Tv , you have to know it wont bring you any benefit. I am not asking you to immediately dont watch tv but you can slowly decrease the number of hours spent on watching TV. The thing is you know there is much filth in it and u still do it .

life is short . Everyday we have to reflect whether we make full use of our day...

If im not wrong you are 13/14 , right ? MashAllah when i was your age , i suppose im worse than you .

My suggestion: school, read the quran, do homework and revision, maybe listen to 30 minutes of islamic lecture

Asalaamu'Alykum,

Well, you can set up a timetable yourself, but it matters how much time you have available, this is my schedule for Monday:

Kitab-at-Tawheed
9:30 - 11:00

Learning Arabic
11:15 - 12:15

Memorising Qur'an
1:45 - 3:15

Qur'an Reading
3:45 - 5:00

Learning Arabic
5:30 - 6:30

Sounds a bit optimistic, but i actually stuck to it, when i started, but some issues came up so i could not do it, but back to work today and sticking to the timetable Inshallah.

Alhamdulilah

To Alkathiri: Yes I watch t.v. but I don't ususually grab the remote and sit down. I usually just sit on the couch and just watch it with my family sometimes. There is sooooo much filth. Yah I am 13 years old. Well much thanks for the advice.

To Ditta: Yes that is a great schedule. Reminds me I'm really behind in kitab at tawheed. Need to get some done. Insha'Allah I'll print this schedule later, gotta go to sleep.

Asalaamu'Alykum,

Alhamdulilah.

That schedule just for Monday, it includes the same stuff although different order, although Kitab-at-Tawheed finishes, i will need to replace it with something, heres to Life of The Prophet (S.A.W) by Ibn Kathir. Inshallah.

EDIT: The schedule is only that packed because of holidays, otherwise it would be totally different.

To Ayman: Dhikhr is a real good way to get lots of good deeds. I already printed a dhikhr sheet from this website. Insha'Allah I will use it more often.

About the hadith, Wow I never heard it before. Thanks for telling me. I guess I can do more house work. Even though I hate it. lol.

thanks for the advice.
