A question about wudu.....

Sometimes when I finish doing wudu , I keep forgetting If I said bismillah or not . But If I did , should I the whole wudu again ? I dont think so right ?since as muslims we must use as little water possible . And doing wudu again means using more water .

Ya akhi, the saying of bismillah is a sunnah. Although some scholars say it is obligatory. The saying of bismillah has disagreement within scholars.

Anyways, if you have doubts you do not need to repeat it. the reason is doubt is not the same as something you are sure with. So even if saying bismillah is obligatory and you have doubt whether you say bismillah, you still do not need to repeat your wudoo

Salam saying Bismillah is sunnah and to say it is mustahabb not mandatory so you do not need to repeat it unless you like too.
