A story of the Widsom of Allah's trials

A man once lived during the time of the Caliphates and he was exceedingly renown for saying "alhamdillah" or praise be to Allan when anything bad or good would happen to him. If he was hungry he would say alhamdillah if he was full he would say alhamdillah and he would not fail to mention this word at every moment. One day his friend who happened to be head of state invited him to come along hunting with him, during their hunting session his friend received a very bad cut on his thumb causing him to bleed profusely. The man at the sight of this said "alhamdillah" and his friend became extremely angry at him and thought he was mocking him because he failed to see any good from such an injury. In his anger he had his friend arrested and was sent back to town to spend some time in jail.

As the head of state was returning to town, he became lost and was captured by a small cannibalistic tribe. The tribe told him it was one of their pagan rites to sacrifice men who enter their territory. So they stretched him up upon a stone granite and were appalled to realize that this man was missing a thumb, their particular pagan rite required a man with all his limbs. They decided to let the head of state go.

He went right back to his friend in Jail and told him of the tale and apologized to him seeing the wisdom of Allah in play. He asked if he liked his stay in jail:

The man replied "alhamdillah"

The head of state was puzzled and further inquired why he would said that

The man replied "i said alhamdillah at being sent to Jail because if i would have stayed with you, we would have been captured and that tribe would have certainly sacrificed me instead!"

Brothers and Sisters remember Allah is always Hakeem un Aleem. One with all Knowledge but more importantly as much wisdom. Anything Bad happens for a reason and if you cannot sometimes understand the reason, take solace that it came from the most wise.

jazkallah khair.this is very good explanation.Really sometime a person feel that Allah did not good work.but allah know very well what is good for this person whrease a person do not know what is good or bad for himself.therefore we should avoid any wrong sentence to say for allah in angry or in sorrowfull situation.:tti_sister::hijabi:

Imagine a small ant crossing a path of obscured colors of red, orange, blue. The ants see no order and is puzzled.

Seen from a vantage point of 30 feet in the air, the Ant is walking across a beautiful Persian carpet filled with lively colors depicting a waterfall in the depths of the forest.

Sometimes we cannot see everything. We are not all knowledgeable.
