مكتوبة فأجره كأجر الحاج المحرم ) حديث حسن
Aboo Umaamah reported that the prophet SallAllaahu 3Alayhi wa sallam said: ”Whoever leaves his home in a state of purity (wudoo’) to perform obligatory prayer, his reward is like that of a pilgrim (while) in the state of ihraam (i.e. he receives reward similar to that of spending time in ihram during Hajj). (1)
“لو يعلم الناس ما في النداء والصف الأول ، ثم لم يجدوا إلا أن يستهموا عليه لاستهموا عليه”
Prophet SallAllaahu 3Alayhi wa sallam said, “If people knew what blessings lie in the Adhaan and the first row, and they could not achieve this (distinction) by casting lots, they would certainly do so..” (2)
صلاة الجماعة أفضل من صلاة الفذ بسبع وعشرين درجة من حديث عبد الله بن عمر ، وقد رواه البخاري ( 619 ) ومسلم 650
“Prayer in congregation is superior to praying individually twenty-seven times.” (3)
In the Friday’s episode [22nd April 2011] of a Qur’aan Program from Sharjah Channel, Shaykh Sheerzaad told an amazing report of a man who has exceeded the age of 96 yet he is NEVER behind in attending a congregation Salaah or being in the 1st row in Masjid Abu Khamees.
His name is Muhammad Khamees Nasir AsSuwaidy from At-Tawar Area from Dubai.
Here are his pics.
May Allaah increase in life-span in His Obedience.
See his back … how difficult it is to walk like this…
& look at the condtion of some Muslims nowadays. Allaah has given them health, strength & youth, yet they spend it in play and amusement (wasting) & are negligent about the prayers…which is the foundation of deen…
We ask Allaah to keep us steadfast on His obedience & give us a good end. ameen
