
Jazak Allah for enlightening me on this. I didn't know the word was from Hadahra and its meaning.Its origin is Arabic, Hadhra, which means "presence". It is transformed to Hazrat and used in Urdu, Turkish and Farsi to address people with reverence. The Arabs did not use it as such. Colloquial Arabic uses it sometimes but most refer to the prophets and the caliphs as "Sayyidna" meaning "our master."

Guys I am a bit confused when I was reading an article I saw this ''Muhammad Hadhrat (S.A.W)'', Who is that?Is he the Same as the prophet Muhammad S.A.W?
