Salaam,

Unfortunately in America rape does not carry the death sentence no matter how badly we desire to punish this man. His sentence will be decided by a jury of peers and a judge and you can bet they are going to use PTSD from the war as an excuse.

What we can do is pray vehemently for mercy from Allah swt on this child that she recover fully. I can't imagine the violence required to cause brain damage and 17 broken bones on a defenseless, 3 month old baby.

You are right Shy Hijabi......so let me say, may God forgive me, that someone finds out who he is and exact punishment! I know that is terrible, but I look at my little baby and think what kind of animal could ever hurt that?
