i seek refuge in Allah, what if death approaches you before you take shahadah? i mean face it, we never know when we are going to die. and you being convinced with the fact of Islaam, is there any other intellectual thing to do now before saying shahadah?

but anyways.. there is no compulsion in this deen (i am sure that you know about this too. LOL ). and if you by any chance looking for any particular sign, just know that you are not going to see a neon light in the bright morning saying "become Muslim"... but consider this, you have been among us for a longtime and you feel comfortable with us, when people around you say what they say about islaam. is it not enough sign for you? i hope you consider the advice of your brother.

Salam,

I was raised as a christian. There was a lot of stuff that just didn't make sense to me. When id ask the question and not get a real answer or just that its part of the faith bothered me. After 9/11 I got into contact with a brother threw some online forum completely unrealted to Islam. And he began to explain to me what Islam stands for and what it does not stand for. I became intrested in what Islam really was about. For me it was purely about just trying to understand what Islam is so I could be informed about it. the brother i meet online turns out he was born and raised in the same town as me. So i ended going to the masjid to get a tour and a little insight on Islam. The more i heard the more it made sense. The idea of not blindly following something. Everything in Islam can be backed. There is no we belive this just because. And to be honest I thought walking into a masjid as a white american people would be sterring at me. But since ive reverted to Islam the community in my area and the TTI community has done nothing but make me feel welcome at home and in place . Never did do well in english in high school. Please forgive all my spelling and grammer errors
