Assalamu alaykum muslims. I need some advices :) . I would want to know where and how we use the Present Perfect Tense

Assalamu Alaikum,

The present perfect tense expresses an action that was done at some indefinite time in the past. It also expresses an action that started in the past and is still going on. To form the present perfect tense, add has or have to to the past participle.

For example:

I have watched the award program for several years now.
Megan has sung here before now.
Her parents have enjoyed watching her perform.

I hope this helps!
