Beware of Shaytan,

saima abdullah

my life iz 4 Allah
One day Hadrat Umar Ibn Khattab Ameer-ul-Mominin called everyone for Khutbah and when everyone gathered he mounted the pulpit and said "One day I was a shepard to my Aunts, reared their sheeps and goats and at the end of the day I used to go home and the only thing I used to get was a hand full of dates or raisins, and it was a miserable day(meaning tough day)" he then came down. A Sahabi (RA) said, you did nothing but to humiliate yourself, why did you do that? Hazrat Umar replied "My Nafs was telling me, you are the Amir-ul-Mominin, you're better than everyone" and I wanted to teach my Nafs a lesson by Humiliating myself infront of everyone.

Hazrat Umar was known to be blocking every crack from where Shaytan comes in....

...How many cracks have we blocked, or are we just a prey to Shaytan!

Beware of Shaytan,

the way Hazrat Umar Ibn Khattab was always beware of him...

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Jazaki Allahu Khairan sister..

(Al-Isra 17) And say to My slaves (i.e. the true believers of Islâmic Monotheism) that they should (only) say those words that are the best. (Because) Shaitân (Satan) verily, sows state of conflicit and disagreements among them. Surely, Shaitân (Satan) is to man a plain enemy. (53)

(Luqman 31) And when it is said to them: "Follow that which Allâh has sent down", they say: "Nay, we shall follow that which we found our fathers (following)." (Would they do so) even if Shaitân (Satan) invites them to the torment of the Fire? (21)

(Fatir 35) Surely, Shaitân (Satan) is an enemy to you, so take (treat) him as an enemy. He only invites his Hizb (followers) that they may become the dwellers of the blazing Fire. (6)
