Caliphate Rule

Hi All,

Assalamu Alaikum,

I am still in Confusion why the Muslim countries (Saudi Arabia, etc.,) are not following the Caliphate Rule which our Beloved Nabi Muhammed SAWS has taught. Why we are ruled by Kings (Ruling the country - son after son - not by the knowledge?). Is anybody have a different opinion on this. Please explain.

Jazakallah

Wassalam u Alaikum.

Regards
Mohamed Yousuf Anas.

wa alaikum salam,

yes there isn't any caliphate rule in saudi arabia because there was no consistency in the way of appointing caliph after prophet (saw)

:wasalam:

why target only saudi arabia? atleast saudi arabia is doing much better than many muslim nations.

brother, the answer to your question is that it is due to lack of Islamic knowledge and weak iman.

Only thing stopping the caliphate rule is the custody of Two Holy Sites. Hence Saudi Arabia. I am not a saudi basher, but it is what generally put forward by those who argue against saudi. And there is no good in supporting Saudi too. IMO, We are better off spending time in asking Allah to bring back Khilaafah.

to the thread starter, Akhi, this issue has been discussed many times in this forum.

PS:-When is this thread getting closed by the way? *wink* *smiles*

Once the Muslim countries and it's people fully imitate the west and get a real taste of "that lifestyle", they'll all wanna go back to the real Islamic state, thats when a Caliphate will come.

History can answer your question.

The khilafah was abolished by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk in 1924 in favor of the creation of Turkey as a secular region. The khilafah was in the hands of the Ottomans at the time and thus, he was able to abolish the entire system.

In order to have a Caliphate everything must be in line first. These are some of the issues preventing a Caliphate, in no particular order.

1. Puppet Governments.
2. Dictators who wont give up.
3. Nationalism and racism.
4. Leadership issues.
5. Sectarianism.
6. The tribal nations with war lords.
7. Arrogance of the richer of nations.
8. Obsession with the dunya.

6. The tribal nations in Jahiliyyah.
7. Arrogance of the richer of nations.

And this is under the assumption that we want a Caliphate involving all the Muslim countries not just some or half.

I say the first step would be Free Trade amongst the Muslim Countries.

Nationalism is the worst of all these in my opinion.

"O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted."
Holy Qur'an - 49:13

Nationalism blocks the Ummah from uniting as many people prefer friendship and unity with those of their own language group or country; and sometimes it gets so insane that even within a nation itself people from different villages hate on one another.

Nationalism runs so deep that even seemingly "religious" Muslim families in the West will not allow their daughter to marry a religious Muslim man she mutually loves and desires for marriage, due to his nationality or linguistic background being different and deemed "inferior" according to father of the daughter; is anything more reminiscent of jahiliyyah than this?

The Muslim Ummah needs to rid itself of nationalism, so we have a Caliphate of United Muslimeen who love one another and not just nominally or based on culture.

"An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor a non-Arab over an Arab except by piety (Taqwa)."
