Can women read Fatihah when they are...

Assalamu'alaikum brothers and sisters.

Some sisters asked me this question, if women having their monthly period (sisters, I'm sorry if I say anything wrong) and without holding and reading directly from the Qur'an:

1) can they reciting Fatihah?
2) can women read verses from the Qur'an that they have memorised it?

Pls revert by today if possible.
