Hello Mr. Renton,
I am fine by the Blessings of my Creator.

I have a curiosity about Atheists. Being atheists, how do they know the purpose of this universe, its creation, their own creation and the existence of so much complexities. (please I dont need human made self hypothesis to 'guess' "ok this universe is made for such such reason).

If you tell me that science answer your questions one day, then science already has given the answer for the people who are not blind from heart.


So, how about your definit answer out of the guesses and hypothesis. Hello!! I asked what is the purpose of 'your' existence. Hello!! are you there? :)

I dont think it does give you a definate answer for everything, but i dont feel like there has to be.
For me, i set my own purpose and destiny.
I feel that all humans goals should be to further our society and to achieve a world without bigotry and hatred.
Im only 19, so i probably have a lot to learn, but at the moment I feel happy knowing I am me and Id like to make a differnce in the world and to be remembered and be happy.
Science does not always offer the whys, but i like how it is self-adjudicating.
The purpose of science is to disprove what was once believed, and will keep disproving itself until we know as much as we can know.

Now my comment:
The motive of you and othe people like is based on "We think there is not God, so we dont have to follow Him"

My scientific question is: 'What if there is God , then?' Did your mind ever give a twist for it? Just try, try to realize for a moment.

If you create a robot and it starts doing what 'it' thinks and does not obey you. The robot becomes happy what 'it' thinks and does not give a damn to what you want it to do. And over that, the robot even denies you even exist. What will you do to that robot? Will you kiss it? I wonder you will fetch a hammer and smash that headache robot.

Then how about that IF..... "IF there is a God and He wants you do some thing according to HIS wish and not your wish of creation?"


Still dont get he serious point in it? Here is another way.

Assumption one: "If there is no God then its ok whatever you do. No pain. All time happy happy"
Assumption two: "What if there is a God? What if his warnings are true?" Then prepare yourself for the hell for his denial and follwing 'your wishes' and doing what 'you' like and not your Creator.


Again, There is no harm in assumption 1. But if assumption II is true then prepare yourself for tough times.

well if God does exist, i dont believe in any of the gods out there, so I would be in a fair place to be judged as and who I am.
Not that I believe there is one, or many. I have never felt God (in any form) and there are many reasons as to why i don't believe there is one (but this probably isn't the forum to discuss those in!)
anyway, i feel happy being who i am and you feel happy being who you are, and that is the main thing for me.

Yes, Br. Imad i wanted an islamic answer. That's always what i am looking for. Thank you for researching this question for me. My instinct did tell me not to go to the dinner because it would be like me encouraging her. And renton, your right if it would be just like her trying to invite me to christianity. it just wouldn't happen. Even though i am a recent revert so my family still has no idea about Islam in it's full extent. I did print out some papers for my mother to read because my family has so many false thoughts about Islam. And now that i'm out of the ignorance, alhumdulillah, i see just how ignorant people are. I am working very hard at doing everything i do islamically correct so i appreciate the sincerity in your responses. It's funny how this thread turned into a completely different discussion...lol. I was at one point atheist myself. I dipped into many different things in my time of ignorance. All i can say is Alhamdulillah that i'm no longer blind. Thanks again soooo much for your replies. May Allah bless you for your kindness.

It is true that we should not jump into giving answers unless we have the knowledge, other wise, we will be leading our brothers and sisters astray without our consent. we should not talk about anything that needs needs a knowledge, let's not use our logic in aswering questions that need ilmu, we should remember our noble prophet Muhammad S.A.W says that we shouldn't talk about anything unless we have the knowledge. by doing that we will be doing a great favor not only to our brothers and sisters but also to our own souls against the fire of jehannam - Audhubillah min dhaalika!
I am overwhelmed over by the iman of my sister but what we do to our brothers and sisters who converts and face so many humiliations and even intimidation? In Phillipines we have our sister who is living in a very difficulty situation most of her family members are christians who engage themselves in cock fighting gambling, she is intelligent and well educated but she is suffering and living life that is not acceptable, the day I came to learn about the tribulations of our sister I couldn't sleep the story kept on coming to my head. what could I do? I am in Tanzania and my situation financially is not all that good, as I have said this muslim lady is in her 40s and holding a second degree, she was working in Brunei her mother kept on pushing herto come back so that she could go to Malaysia where someone lied to them that she could be paid much better, and she didn't want to leave her job, but her mother kept on calling her and sometimes the mother used to cry on the phone, so she went back to Phillipines simply because of her mother who is good player of cock fighting gambling, now her biological father has asked her to tell our sister that she has no right to use the home phone, and that makes things worse, as she is trying to as her former employer to assist on documentations so that she could go back to her job in Brunei, but the proceedure is she has to pay for the process of the documnetations, if there is anyone who could help her, do something to this newly convertee who is very strong in her iman, and that is why I am forced to use this opportunity to plead to you my brothers and sisters if there is anyone who could help her, please do so she is intellectual and she can help herself once she goes out of Phillipines and be away from all those evil.
