Christmas cards

just a question, although people know im a muslim and i dont celebrate christmas they still give me Christmas cards and some gifts, the gifts have stopped since i asked them too but they still give cards

Should i just throw them out? or keep them somewhere, I am not going to display them or anything cuz i dont support or celebrate christmas.

I feel like throwing them out but I just feel a little rude throwing them out cause they take the time to give me a card and write something for me.

What is the best way to go ?

Throw them out, that's what I did. Even one of my athiest friends found out, she said she gave me the best card and looked annoyed but it didn't matter to me. Throw them away but don't let them know

Whenever my friends bring up stuff like that, I just change the topic, and then they forget. Works with me alhamdulillaah.

My family throws out the cards after the holiday is over anyway, so I think it's ok to throw them after you read them if you're not going to display them. But you might want to read them just in case. Some people send letters with it with updates on their family and if you run into them later and have no clue what they're talking about they'll know you never opened it lol.

lol- just keep them in a little stow-away drawer or something, until they forget!!!!!
but yeah- we should appreciate that they take the time to make them or the money to give them
