Company Oracle can i use it

I have a question:

There is a company named Oracle and they developing the computer Language Java which is important for IT-jobs also for my.

Well my question is can i use the Product despite the fact it named oracle?

In Classical Antiquity, an oracle was a person or agency considered to be a source of wise counsel or prophetic predictions or precognition of the future, inspired by the gods. As such it is a form of divination.

We know it is an IT company and they can be considered an agency that offers wise counsel (in terms of technology) but they are not claiming anything more than that. So I don't see anything contradicting Islamic teachings here.

We Humans use Language as a means to communicate. to express your intent and to get beneficial things done. But we do end up speaking lies, foul mouthing, i e for non-beneficial/haraam/crime acts too. Same applies to computer language [Ex Java].

So computer languages is a way to interact with computer and get things beneficial things done. As long as your interaction and purpose of using computer language is halaal, its fine. The income you make from doing such a job would be halaal.

As to Oracle or Java they make programming languages / tools / software . As long as the tool lets you use it in a halaal/beneficial you can use it. If some one asks you to use these to do non-beneficial [or Haraam] act, then do not do it.
