:shymuslima1:Asaalaam Alaikum.Is it makrooh or haram to consume crab meat? I`m confused about this as some ustaz say its makrooh and some say its haram. Anyone with a clear answer? Thank you.

Yeah thats what i know also, massi..but i was scared when she said that it is haram or makrooh.. actually i ate one yesturday..Yummy crab!!:D

If haram, what is your proof from Quran and sunnah?
If makrouh, also what is your proof from Quran and sunnah?

Please brothers and sisters stop saying haram, makrouh,etc without giving a proof. :SMILY209:

Asslamu alikum,

Allah subhanhu wa taala made every thing u get from sea is HALAL.

The evidence on that is averse from The Holy Quraan.(surat Al-maaeda , verse NO 96 )

you can check it then read it................

Salam, But what if some of the animals in the sea eat meat like for exapmle shark. Alot of you say we can eat all the animals in the sea. I think you should look it up before you haram or say that we can eat it. because what if you are wrong and you dont want to be wrong because you are taking a chance. Ask a Scholer they would know inshallah. O and correct me if Im wrong please.
