ATHEISM Verses SCIENCE
The mass conversion of the western ppl to atheists & agonists in modern times is highly motivated by this fact. It was the conflict btn walking on the spherical earth & believing in the 'flat one' that made ppl reject the existence of God! Simply ppl accepted the facts & rejected the fictions instinctively.
However, objective examination for the beliefs of those who describe themselves as atheist reavels a serious error of judgement. Those ppl actually have rejected the concept & revelation of god as it was taught to them in the Judaism & Christian lessons in childhood, but have extended that fair rejection to other concepts & claimed divine revelation without significant knowledge about them.
While most of them can confidently ptove why they rejected the concept of god which was taught to them, the majority did not spend a little more effort finding out if the concept of God, and his claimed revelation is also contradictory to reality in other claimed religions.
Examining the attitude of atheists towards God, while looking at the example of the computer manual, reveals how short sighted and non-scientific their conclusion usually is! When you discover the wrong instruction manual in the computer box, you will naturally think that there was a mistake in packing, printing etc. What you will never conclude is that, the computer has no manufacturer! No sensible man would assume that the highly complex computer was a product of evolution or a mere chance of coincidence just because a wrong manual was put in the box.
Sad enough, the Western scientists and intellectuals, who had proven that their religions do not much the reality of life and the universe, have concluded confidently that, this wonderful universe must have existed by chance! Had they followed a true scientific approach, they should proceeded to searching for the true Creator and the right revelation, instead of making a fatal conclusion based on very limited insignificant data.
In a world that claims objectivity and promotes the scientific approach as a fundamental tool to reach facts, many false statements emerged as conclusive judgements against all religions, while in reality, they were tested against only a few defected religions. Example [All religions contradict science][all religions teaches racism...] [ ..all religions oppress women..][...all religion promote war]etc.... It seems here that human intellect is very eager to expose falsehood, but is very reluctant to take a step further and discover the truth!
