do ur Mosque's Imam cry in taraweeh?

i have seen many of them cry in Taraweeh. many ppl say tht they are faking it but i dont believe them.

bcoz i think tears can come only thru heart. u cannot bring false tears. u cannot fake them.

thats y i always try to pray behind imams who i know shed tears while reciting Quran bcoz they recite it frm their heart inshallah.

sometimes, and i feel like its really nice cuz it creats a emotional atmosphere and althought i might not understand wats being said i like it

Why do they think it's fake? Crying is the most natural thing that happens during prayer. Especially if you know the meaning of what is being recited. Not only for the Imams. Infact, true believers' eyes are filled with tears at the mention of Allah's name, let alone his very words.

rihma Allah, and see if you could understand what is recited. it is surat An-naba. pay particular attention to around 5 minutes and 32 seconds. If you where following the surah, you will see.

it is not befitting for a person, to evaluate a person's sincerity to his Lord. If I were you, I would choose better social people.

i dont think thers anything called fake cry, i think its from the hearts of the imams who cry as they understand what they recite, unfortunatly i dont understand so my tears dont come (wish it did).
