i have a question
kayfa naqul when bi l lugat al arabiyyah?
kayfa naqul when bi l lugat al arabiyyah?
Yes , Olama' can means all the scientists in general , but we used to mention their department . For e.g " Medicine scientists " علماء الطب
Engeneering scientists علماء الهندسة or in general " Engineers " مهندسون
"hatha ma 3indi wa3inda-allah "
This is what I have , and what Allah has .
hatha = this
ma = what
3indi = I have
wa= and
3ind = has
allah = our God .
strange sentence
People say Jazakalla
For female is it Jazakilla ?
This thread seems very useful
It is my native language and I was taught it by fabulous teachers from Kindergarten to high school. It is a blessing that I am continually thankful for.
It's actually the only correct way That's because the verb "Jazaak" means "May He recompense you". The compensation can be a reward or a punishment! Consider,
"And to God belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth - that He may recompense those who did wrong for what they did and recompense those who did good with the best [reward]." (53:31)
Thus, when a Muslim says to another, "Jazaak Allaah", he is being ambiguous!
To say it right and accurately, you say:
Jazaaka Allaahu Khayra[n] (to one male),
Jazaaki Allaahu Khayra[n] (to one female)
Jazaakuma Allaahu Khayra[n] (to two people)
Jazaakum Allaahu Khayra[n] (to more than two males, or to a group of people where males outnumber females)
Jazaakunna Allaahu Khayra[n] (to more than two females)
If you can't remember all that, you can always use the plural second person format,
Jazaakum Allaahu Khayra[n]
I put an [n] in brackets because it is OK to say the phrase with or without the [n]. Without the [n] is the proper Arabic if the sentence ends there or if you pause at it. If you continue talking without pausing then the [n] has to be pronounced. For example,
Jazaaka Allaahu Khayran Katheera (may God recompense you with plenty of good). There you cannot skip the [n] because you did not pause at Khayra[n].
Oh, You are very good.
So if you say to a female "may Allah guide you"
Ii is "Hadaki illah" ?
:salam2:
HadakIllah is correct i think *These guys will help you out inshaAllah*
Urm, just wanted to ask. I know ive asked before but its a little confusing for me. When you're typing Arabic English *written in the English format, but said as Arabic* you tend to use, 7, 3 etc etc? And i feel very
7= Haa ?
3= 'Ayn
What is the rest please?
JazakAllah khayr
Wasalam
Hadaki Allah
Yes , right .
He is Egyption I think
heheh I was right walilliahil hamd.
Can you tell me what "Kalam fadi" is or the correct pronounciation?
and Saudi Arabian sister can you re-write "Okahyeaya" again in arabic with bigger font please. Sorry for the trouble
Saudi Arabian sister ?
in a short way u can call me Fatima
The Literal translation of " kalam fadhi " = empty speech but it's an expression for the useless speech , the speech which doesn't have any benifit , Unacceptable speech .
okhayeya ( male )
أُخــيَّ
okhayeyah ( female )
أُخــيـَّــة
No problem , any time I'm here
7 = ح
3 = ع
6 = ط
3" = غ
4 = ذ
5 = ق or sometimes it represents خ
2 = ء
This is what I know
و عليكم السلام و رحمة الله و بركاته:salam2: wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
dear sister
just want to know
how does this number represent the huruf in arabic?
is it based on the arabic keyboard?
becos yeah sometimes i dont understand a word with a number in the middle :lol:
usually here we'll spell the huruf if its directly translated from arabic words
i used to take al lughah al arabiyah ala'liyah in school before - was fun but quite hard with the nahu,sorof,balaghoh-a lot of memorization there
and now ive forgotten most of it :astag:
anyways always keen to learn back arabic language
jazakallahu khairan kathiran
و عليكم السلام و رحمة الله و بركاته
Hello honey ,
Ok this way is used by the ppl whom write Arabic in Latin letters , about me I don't like it , Arabic letters are the best
they choose the similar number to represent each letter , for e . g . 7 = ح
it's a kinda similar .
and it's Huroof NOT huruf
Sarf Not suruf
balaghah not balaghuh
:salam2:
shukran kathiran dear sister
i guess i need to remember which huroof the number represents
also thanks for the corrections
i guess i actually spelled it in a malay kind of way
also i cant read the arabic words without the kasrah, fathah and dhommah ( hope i spelled it right)
would u kindly tell me how to read it?
