I don't miss tv,neither watch it so often.I only switch it on a channel called "Quran Sunnah" and I can listen all day long to the Quran recitation and watch to the all prayers in Mecca on air.it's amazing!

I don't watch TV much except when I am eating dinner (yep, I do the typical Western "eat dinner in front of TV trick"). I use my TV more for video games than for anything else.

hope ur not a video game addict like my son....!!!!! dont kknow how to stop him,,....at this time.....especially as everyone around him is the same!!

I see it more often that people are slowly giving up TV :D ...
I also watch it at dinner sometimes but during Ramadhan this link is a great option for when you just want to take a break. It surely beats anything that is on TV right now lol

I used to be like that. I would play games for 12-14 hours a day sometimes when I was a teenager/early 20's.

Eventually I grew out of it and now I only play for a couple of hours at night before bedtime.

How old is your son?

especially as right now,,, he should have his mind on better things iguess,,, but its vacation ..and even in this muslim country..thats all the boys, teenagers: young men seem to do.,.............??????????!!!!

i'd say its an idiot box sister. :D
i think its not beautiful gift and one of the great temptation (fitnah) for us. more than 99% of it is used for non-Islamic purpose.

where you have to waste ur time, hear music, look at opposite genders, etc.
