documentary on converts to islam

hi there i am in the process of producing a documentary on converts to islam and was just wondering what types of information or content/issues are required to make it a successful documentary. please if someone could give me some information, i would appreciate it. i am also looking for some contributors for the documentary preferably around yorkshire but anywhere is fine to gain information as i want to know about our muslim brothers and sisters journeys on becoming muslims

Salaam,

I converted alittle over a week ago. I think this will definitely make for an interesting documentary as so many people have such different stories. I am an artist who has studied/observed all the major religions in the world and create art inspired by religion and society, so I know how fun and exciting it is to get out there and do all of this research. Something I think would be interesting to add as a topic to your list is "Why Islam and not other religions?" I know for myself... without extensive knowledge of all the other faiths, I could have never approached Islam the way I did. So I think it would be interesting to see how other people view it, or if others even have knowledge about the other faiths.
Maybe another topic could be how people felt spiritually before Islam... in a sense like for myself... I was very into my Christian faith even as a young child although no one in my household was, but I always felt something was missing all throughout life until I converted.
