I have noticed increased prices on the food that I once use to buy, including my favorite restaurants.

I'm trying to understand who is responsible for world food shortages? What are some other factors (besides increase in global fuel prices) to why there is world food shortage?

It is greed! The grocery stores are stacked with foods spoiling. I often check out the spoiling food at Walmart. The big monsters buy all the food at a cheap price and rather than share they let it rot.
Greed and power and all the other rot. They are out of touch. Let them eat cake!!!!
