It shows you just how low Muslims have fallen today. Pertaining to our Muslim leaders, I do believe that Muslims are at their very lowest. Our amazing predecessors wore nobility, justice, and honor as flags. We're nothing compared to them today and what's sadder is that no one even tries.
It is this very hadith of defending the honor of a woman that makes me sad at our neglect and abandonment of Dr. Aafiyah Siddiqui. Wallahi, it is this very hadith that I think of every time I think about that sister. She has been tortured, beaten, and subjected to every kind of vile abuse at the hands of the kuffar on false charges and not ONE Muslim ruler will stand in her defense, let alone fight for her honor. Look at how "far" we've come.
Our predecessors would be ashamed to call us today's Ummah and may Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala help Muslims rise once more and earn the respect they once had throughout the world.
