Well Let me show you the other side of the 21st century!

Well thats being a bit negative. There are MORE muslims converting after 9/11 MORE muslim women are wearing the Hijab and MORE men are choosing to have a beard. And this is a century where Dictators have fallen. I like to think that this century we are living could be the century where muslims will slowly but surely climb up the "ladder of success" not only for success in this world but success in faith as muslims climb towards the Sunnah Of the Prophet PBUH. We should be thankful To Allah SWT that we get to live in this century for what we do during this century may decide not only the fate of all Human beings but also the fate of islam. Insha'Allah this migh be the century where the Prophet Jesus PBUH will return and the rise of the Hazrat Mahdi RA.

I am happy to say that I have become a more religious muslim somewhere around the 21st century Al Hamdulilah. I pray five times a day, give donation and trying my best to avoid the bad. I still need L A LOT of work in my Islam and in my Iman. But Im working on it :)

But you are right lets pray to Allah SWT for Guidance and also His Mercy And Blessings

:wasalam:

This hadeeth was narrated by Muslim (145) from Abu Hurayrah who said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Islam began as something strange and will revert to being strange as it began, so give glad tidings to the strangers.”

The meaning of this hadeeth is that Islam began as something strange, when the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) called people to Islam, but no one responded except a few here and there. At that time it was something strange because its people were like strangers amongst others and they were few in number and weak, in contrast to the great numbers and strength of their enemies who persecuted the Muslims. Then some of them migrated to Abyssinia, fleeing for the sake of their religion from tribulation and to save themselves from persecution and oppression, and the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) migrated at Allaah’s command to Madeenah, after suffering intense persecution and in the hope that Allaah would give him people to support him in his call and support Islam. Allaah fulfilled his hopes, granted victory to his troops and supported His slave. The Islamic state was established and Islam spread, with the help of Allaah, throughout the land; Allaah made the word of kufr lowest and the word of Allaah is (always) uppermost, for Allaah is Almighty, All-Wise, and honour, power and glory belong to Allaah, and to His Messenger, and to the believers [cf al-Munaafiqoon 63:8]. This continued for a long time, then division and dissent spread among the Muslims and weakness and failure increased gradually, until Islam once again became something strange as it was in the beginning. But this is not because of their small numbers, because at that time they will be many, rather it is because they do not adhere to their religion or cling to the Book of their Lord and the teachings of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), apart from those whom Allaah wills. So they become distracted and turn to competing in worldly matters, like those who came before them, and they fight amongst themselves for leadership. So the enemies of Islam found a way in and they colonized their lands, humiliated their people and treated them badly. This is the way in which Islam returned to being strange as it was in the beginning.

As for no believers will be left, that is referring to the end of times. This will happen long after Jesus (Esa) a.s. has come and lived and died.

During the end of time, there will be a lot of mischief and disorders one after another; people will abandon the Quran and belief. Ethical people will live in the mountains; justice will exist by name only; oppression and cruelty will cover and surround the world like dark clouds. They are mentioned in the hadiths of the Prophet and they are known very well. As Doomsday approaches, people will go to bed as believers but wake up in the morning as unbelievers; or they will wake up as believers but will go to bed as unbelievers because of the events that take place and the words one utters during the day.

It has been known for a long time that Doomsday will strike and affect the evil people who lost their religion and belief and the unbelievers that represent and spread the evil and that the spirits of believers will be removed just before Doomsday strikes so that the believers will not experience that terror as a sign of the mercy of Allah due to their belief.

It is narrated by Tirmidhi, “Doomsday will not strike until there exists nobody who says ’Allah Allah’ on earth.” In another hadith, it is stated that the spirits of all believers will be removed just before Doomsday strikes and there will be no good people left in the world and that Doomsday will strike and affect the unbelievers.

Prophet (pbuh) said,"Whatever Allah said regarding the issue will take place. Then, Allah will send a nice wind. Through this wind, the spirits of those who have even the slightest belief in their hearts will be removed. Only the people who are no good will be left in the world and they will return to the religion of their ancestors."

Although I believe that each individual needs to work hard for success, I believe that we have great opportunities to become successful in this century, but upon the ascension to our success we must not forget those of our brothers and sisters in Islam that need help in being lifted.
