Girl student pens 999-ft Quran


Hyderabad, May 12: A girl student of a city-based school here has penned a 999-ft Quran in Urdu.Tejasri, whose father Balu is also a noted artist, is a class-X student of Lotus Lap Public School here.

Tejasri began writing the Urdu text on April 23. She is eyeing a place in the Guinness World Records through this feat.

The student presented a copy of the Quran to TDP president and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at the NTR Trust Bhavan on Tuesday.

What's a Hindu name?! You surely mean the names most Hindu people would take. Okay. BUT it doesn't necessarily mean that a Muslim can't have such a name.

By the way, Quran is not only for Muslims to read, write or understand. We as Muslims shouldn't have any problem with that unless someone disrespects it. Moreover, MANY scientists, and all other non-Muslims, who studied Quran and have reverted, were non-believers once.

The Guiness book of world records is full of all types of filth, it wouldn't be nice to have anything Qur'an related in there.

i highly doubt any of these afore-mentioned people actually read the Quran. far from it.

Usman bin Taha is a world renowned arab calligrapher who works for King Fahd Printing Complex of the Holy Quran. his mus-haf take 4 years to complete, error-free and accurate. its improbably that some matric grade non-muslim girl can copy the Quran in 19 days without any mistakes.

one of the reasons why the bible has so many versions is because olden scribes used to copy the testaments too fast and make human errors in the latin text without anyone to review them.

this is not an achievement, its just another mockery. think logically. renowned hafiz-calligraphers dont even write the Quran this fast.
