Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh

My name is Sarah and I have been lurking on this amazing website for 4 months. Don't ask why it took so long to join. I reverted to Islam in February of 2006. Long story short about my reversion. I was in my second semester of Arabic and there was a Muslimah who always sat in the corner. I guess you could say she had a glow to her and I finally got the courage to ask her about Islam. Who knew two weeks later I would take my shahada lol. I do not regret one moment because Islam feels natural to me. Islam has helped me develop important character, respect for Allah, for my parents, and myself. Friends who see me now say that I now have a glow and that I am always happy which is a good thing because I do not want to be lost again or feel emptiness in my heart.

It has been a difficult journey because I am on a campus with mostly Catholics and Christians. It is okay though because I would not be a strong Muslimah if I did not face these challenges. Okay thank y'all (you all) for reading my post and inshaAllah hope to hear from you.
