Narrated Abu Huraira(Radi'Allahu anhu):
Allah's Apostle (Sall'Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said,

"The (hell) Fire complained to its Lord
saying, 'O my Lord!
My different parts eat up each other
(due to intense flaming).'

So, He Subhanuhu wa Ta'ala
allowed it to take two breaths,
one in the winter
and the other in summer,
and this is the reason for the severe heat
and the bitter cold you find (in weather)."

Interesting, would you brother care to elaborate on the meaning and logical side of what is meant by this?

salamu alaykum

what it is meant from the hadith, is that the coldest day and the hottest days of the the year, are actually from or part of the hell fire for us to experience on this dunya. Just as in hadith the prophet mentioned that fever (heat of fever) is actually a part of the hell fire.

Allah knows best
