i wanted to introduce myself !
i am 19 years old, born in israel.
my name is Gal, but as everyone called me - saba7.

my mom is russian, my father tunisian. BOTH jewish.

before 4-5 years, i started to know muslim guys, and loving the islam.

as everyone know (i think everyone..),
in israel - girls must be in the army.

i went to the army, i was sign for 2 years.
it disturbed me with my life, with all things that happening there.
i could've be muslim in the israeli army, not acceptable.

for my luck, i finally got out of there after 7 months,
and now i can keep and do what i started before army :
CONVERTING TO ISLAM.

so this is me.....:hijabi:

Really happy to have someone who's the same age as me. I'm 19 this year and am a Singaporean. :) Didnt know that girls in israel have to serve in the army. I just knew abt it. Anyway have a pleasant stay here. Btw so sorry sis just want to know, you are now not in the army and already a muslim? May Allah guide you to the straight and true path. Ameen! =)

hi everyone! thank you all so much.

someone here ask me and ill answer , its not like i became muslim right after i left army. i was muslim even in the army, and that's why i couldnt stay there.
not the only reason tho, but one of many.

actually i wrote that my belief is judaism just that people will know i was jewish before...

Salaam sister,

Welcome to Islam and welcome to TTI, you can put that your beleif is Islam in your profile but also write you are a convert from Judaism in your signature. That way people won't be confused and you don't have to look like something you are not.

How has your family accepted your conversion to Islam? Do you wear hijab? Was your family orthodox Jewish or secular and Jewish only by name? I am very curious about you as you and I have a lot in common. :)

about the profile - i'll do what u suggest.
and also sorry about my poor english :\ im not use to talk english....or write...

my family DO NOT know about my conversion..
they only know i have arabi and muslims friends.
when i was younger, they didnt liked it.
they use to lock me in my room\house, to take my phone
and internet.

one good thing about the army that teached me to stand my ground and do
whatever i want.

my parents are actually divorce, i live with my mom, and i have no brothers and sisters.
my mom is kinda belive but not too much. she wear normal cloths.
my dad is not even celebrating holidays.

but the thing is there are Rabbis (the religous holy old ppl, whatever! like Sheikh..)
in my family. lots of them.
no one in my family never marry with someone out of the religeion.

i hope thats all answer on your questions.

yeah it's so difficult , thanks for Allah , we are not forced to be in the arny ( as females ) here in Saudi Arabia .

Ok if u proud of being Muslim write it in ur profile , it'll be better
