Aslaam Alaikum

I have a situation which i hope a brother or sister on here can inshaallah help me with. My question is can I send my 2 year old son to what is advertised as a catholic school here in the UK?

The schools in our area are very run down and some have terrible ofstead reports. There are currently a couple of Muslim children who attend the school, 1 of whom's mother wears full hijab and is also a member of the parental teaching association.

Your help with this would be much appreciated.

Isn't 2 year too young to go to school? Do you not have an islamic school in the area?

Once I read a news that lot of Muslims in UK send their kids to catholic schools because the public schools are too bad. In one catholic school, 60% of the students were Muslims. With that many students, one could easily open an Islamic school, so why don't they?

Apologies

I was asking the question based on my childs 1st school, which he is due to attend next year, but we need to get the name down soon.

I really don't know why there aren't any Islamic schools as much, but the closest to us is over 15 miles away.

The Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him said, "All of you are guardians and are responsible for your wards. The ruler is a guardian and the man is a guardian of his family; the lady is a guardian and is responsible for her husband's house and his offspring; and so all of you are guardians and are responsible for your wards."
—Sahih al-Bukhari: Volume 7, Book 62, Number 128

If you will sent the child to an catholic school it is more than obvious that he will come around Christianity being at the age of 2 is more of an obvious.I dont know much about of uk but here even if we have some kind of catholic school they must have Islamic education or else permit is not given.I know 15 miles is bit far but it will good for your son future.
