OK, I posted this same information on another thread. But I just can't stop thinking about it.
Let me explain, In the USA, jobs are being lost to foreign countries, in retaliation the public took it upon themselves to buy USA and they promote that all over. In fact they will pay little more for a US made product than non US products. There somethings they can't do nothing about. Of course.
Why are we Muslims not thinking, we should be more conscious of this idea, than anybody else. That is if we have in hearts the pain and suffering of a large portion of Muslims. It just saddens me to see them being cornered by these greedy countries.
We are seeing results of boycotting which is a positive sign.
We can do better than that, we need to start buying Muslim Only! This will be a win win situation. This is the message I would like to see being promoted. The governments can't tell us what to purchase, it is up to us the consumers. It is what we ask for and whom we choose to buy from.
Already in the USA, this we are trying to do with muslims here, but it would be more helpful if the whole muslim ummah start being conscious of it. In the beggining it will be tough. But when the ball starts rolling muslms will be competitive. For true beleiver will offer a fair and reasonable price when they are able to.
I was thinking about posting case studies of east asian places that are successful at this but you are internet savy, You will start to see how they (west) are trying to form a global market place for their benefit. And how the far east are working on theirs too.
What really inspired me to start to do what I can was when I start realizing these poor countries, don't need a bag of pennies(that will go away quickly), they need business/manufacturing income, they are very hard working too. They need people to start buying from them. Many of these poor countries have a lot of muslims. And we should start to demand products only from Muslims.
Feel free to see this video, it really makes me sad, and the least we could do is to buy from them. There not sticking there hands out. May Allah see to their needs.
