i've 3 questions..
if anyone can help me,plz?
1.is playing billiards haram?
2.can some1 call her husband or some1 dear to her "jaan"
3. what are the virtues of reading surah tahreem?

Sis I think it depends how close??? (Husband it okay to call Jaan,but a close male friend doesn`t matter how close he is or how long you know him for,It would be haram)

As for question 1, I don't think playing billard is haram so long you do not place any bets.

Qn 2... "Jaan".. if its the hindi word which means love, its alrite to say it to ur husband or kids... but its not right to say it to the opposite gender of urs (non-mahram) as they might have feelings towards you even if you don't mean to.

I'm not sure about qn 3 tho..

1.is playing billiards haram? "Better avoid this time wasting activity and do some physical sports", What is it? Putting some balls in some holes? LOL, Is'nt there any better work to do? , Well rarely one could play it, but people get additct of this lame game.

2.can some1 call her husband or some1 dear to her "jaan" "Call him occassionally and not always, otherwise you will get habbit of always calling him in front of others,. You would certainly feel shy of calling your husband as 'jaan' in front of public. Would you?"

3. what are the virtues of reading surah tahreem? "Dont Know"
