how embarrassing!!!

People usually feel embarrassed when they do something wrong in front of a crowd. The embarrassment increases as the size of the crowd increase. For example, a person will feel more embarrassed if his/her faults are revealed in front of a thousand people than in front of only 10 people. Imagine how you would feel if your faults were broadcasted through the media to all the people in your country.

We are very particular in protecting our honour and dignity in this world, however, while disobeying Allah, are we mindful of the Day of Judgement when we will be standing in front of Allah in the presence of the whole humanity? Besides the ordinary people, all the prophets will be present along with all the sahabah, martyrs and pious individuals. How embarrassing it will be if they see us standing in front of Allah as sinners! Besides the whole humanity, how bad it is if we are to stand in front of Allah alone as a disobedient servant? Therefore, to avoid those major humiliations, we should avoid committing sins in this world.

:shymuslima1: may Allah make us those who don`t get embarrassed in front of Allah and his beloved prophets ( may Allah`s peace and blessings be upon them), ameen:tti_sister:

Assalamu Alaikum

JazakAllahu khairun for the reminder, May Allah (swt) help us to stay away from sinning, and May He forgive, erase and cover all of our sins on that day, Ameen.

Brother lukm4n I'm no scholar but here's one hadith:

It was related on the authority of Abu Hurairah, radiyallahu 'anhu, that the Prophet, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, said:

"Whosoever relieves from a believer some grief pertaining to this world, Allah will relieve from him some grief pertaining to the Hereafter. Whosoever alleviates the difficulties of a needy person who cannot pay his debt, Allah will alleviate his difficulties in both this world and the Hereafter. Whosoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and the Hereafter. Allah will aid a servant (of His) so long as the servant aids his brother. Whosoever follows a path to seek knowledge therein, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. No people gather together in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves, except that tranquility descends upon them, mercy covers them, the angels surround them, and Allah makes mention of them amongst those who are in His presence. Whosoever is slowed down by his deeds will not be hastened forward by his lineage." (Muslim)

Thanks for this, this was the same hadeeth I read and I assumed that Allah conceals all of our sins but now reading the tafseer, its not the case..

We better repent for all our sins pretty quickly whilst Allah has given us a chance to breath !!

Jazaki Allah Kair for the reminder...

Indeed, very scary situation... may Allah cover our sins in this life and after-life as he is Al-Ghafoor... Our prophet (SAW) used to say "astagfiru-li-Lah" 70 times or more a day

Al-Afuww (the Forgiving), al-Ghafoor (the Forgiving), al-Ghaffaar (the All-Forgiving)

The One Who was and is known with the Attribute of Forgiveness. The One Who is described as having Forgiveness and Compassion. Everyone is in dire need of His forgiveness just as they are in dire need of His Mercy and Kindness. Allaah has promised forgiveness to the one who fulfils its conditions, He said,

"and indeed I am All-Forgiving to him who repents, believes, associates none in worship with Me, does righteous deeds and then remains constant in doing them." (20:82)

"Whether you disclose a good deed, or conceal it, or pardon an evil... verily Allaah is the Forgiving, Most Merciful." (4:152)

"And indeed I am the All-Forgiving to him who repents, believes and does righteous deeds and then remains constant in doing them." (20:82)
