MANAMA: Police patrols in Nuwaidarat were yesterday morning attacked by 80 anti-government protesters. The Interior Ministry posted on its Twitter account that the patrols were targeted by more than 80 vandals who hurled firebombs at them.
There were no injuries reported.
Three more schools were, meanwhile, targeted by saboteurs yesterday.
Protesters targeted Al Qadesiya Girls' Primary School in Sitra, setting fire to its fence.
The blaze was put out before it spread.
The incident was reported to the security authorities for legal action to be taken.
Earlier, attackers set fire to a dustbin near the boundary wall of the Saar Primary School for Boys.
A number of protesters broke into the Al Dair Primary School for Boys and started hurling stones and Molotov cocktails inside the school.
The school was attacked by vandals on Thursday also when they hurled stones and smashed windowpanes.
There have been more than 20 such attacks on Bahrain's government schools since the start of the new school year.

The policemen only have a mild version of tear gas and powder pouch to immobilise a person,which can only reach 5-6 ft,to defend themselves.
