Khaalid Ibn Safwan saw a group in the masjid of Basrah, and he said, “What is this gathering?“

He was told, “There is a woman who informs men about women who are available for marriage.“

He went to her and said, “I want to marry a woman.“

She said, “Describe her to me.“

So he described her saying, “I want her to be a virgin who is wise like a married woman, or a married woman who is innocent like a virgin; she should be sweet when she is near, splendid when she is at a distance, she should have lived a life of luxury and then became afflicted with poverty – so she has the manners of the rich and the humility of the poor. When we gather wealth, we should be as the people of the world, and when we become poor, we should be as the people of the hereafter.“

She said, “I know of such a woman for you.“

He said, “And where is she?“

She replied, “In Paradise! So work hard to achieve her!“

that's the whole point of this article imo as i pointed out in an earlier thread with this same article. chasing perfection is futile.

if she has repented then she is pure.

Women impure are for men impure, and men impure for women impure and women of purity are for men of purity, and men of purity are for women of purity: these are not affected by what people say: for them there is forgiveness, and a provision honourable. Quran: 24:26

i always wonder why everyone is looking for perfect ...
no one is perfect (as brother said above)
if someone is found of beauty he /she wants perfect beauty same is the case with wealth, education, deen(although its hard to get idea of religious piety only Allah knows i have seen many who are apparently very religious while they have some extreme spiritual diseases like envy, arrogance and double faced personalities but still Allah knows their hearts i cant be judgmental)
then what about one who are not in top ranking,,,
while the person who is demanding perfect is not perfect himself..
Allah is the best match maker ...subhan Allah
what He chose for you is best for you , clash occurs when we start pointing flaws of other person while rasoolaAllah S.A.W says if you dislike some thing in your spouse then start looking other positive points of his/her personality it might create affection between both of you (not xact words)
so ask Allah for right person and when you get be happy with him or her
she/he is miss/mr perfect for you......
