HOW WOULD YOU HANDLE THIS????

Dear brothers and sisters...hope you all are keeping fine with strong Imaan and good health..INSHA ALLAH

As usual.. once again I'm here with another doubt..(actually a problem)

fine...I know a girl who loves her family more than every thing... (let me call her rose...lol ) recently she came to know that one of her blood relatives does believe and practices Sufism... ASTHAGFIRULLAH... (let me call this Sufi as Jack )
and this friend of mine she loves and respects Jack aloooooot... as Jack is so close to her life...she always wanted Jack to understand the Deen in its pure way...whenever she tried...she found nothing but failures
Moreover, Jack is elder to Rose so she can never be friendly with him or fight with him...but yet she always wanted nothing but to help Jack to protect his self from the fire...SUBHANALLAH..
Recently, Jack started to discuss Sufi stuff with Rose...I wonder why he chose my friend, while there are so many others in the family..
so rose got scared even to talk to him even though he was a blood relative...SUBHANALLAH...
but in the middle of some of their conversations they had, ALHAMDULILLAH she could manage to answer some of his questions and of course, not all...
So she prayed to ALLAH TALA to give her strength to fight this sufi...:tti_sister:
hm...later on when Jack had a telephone conversation with Rose, another family member noticed that she talks about sufi stuff and started scolding her like nothing...uff...she was told that if she talks with him, he would surely make her a sufi too!!!!! uff.. this person went to that ext ream saying that there will be problems in the family if she proceed such talks with Jack..this hurts my friend a lot as even though she loves her family, they failed to understand her.. she is lil upset now- a- days ...MAY ALLAH TALA PROTECT HER..
Now she asks me...that what should she do to sort this problem out?
she means..
As a Muslimah who loves Jack a lot, should she go away from him when he comes up with such things hereafter? or should she fight against him?

HELP ME TO ANSWER HER PLEASE..

As a muslimah first your friend rose should do is to increase her prayers to the Almighty to help her to handle the situation, increase her Eeman, purify her heart from the thoughts of shaitan. She is being tested by Allah to check her sincerity.

If your friend believe she have enough Eeman in her that the words of any other let it be a Sufi or anybody could do nothing towards her faith and love to Allah the Almighty then she must fight back.

And when talking to persons from other religions it is utmost important to pray to Allah to give more forgiveness and Calmness as it will be a stressful task. And also it is important not to hurt their feelings anyway which might stop them from learning Islam further and the best way is to show an good example by being a better Muslim.

May Allah help her friend to find the real Islam through her and may Allah reward her for her love towards his Almighty and for her love towards her family.

May Allah forgive us all

^ Yes, I agree with what ayman1 has said. Perhaps if we know what exactly is being discussed, then it would be helpful.

Attack (or discuss) the message, not the messenger. Too many times, people just skip the entire message by going "but did you know that this person is actually a [Sufi; non-Muslim; giraffe; etc]

I despise Zionists, but if one stated that "the sky is blue" and he gave reasons for it, I wouldn't disregard his argument immediately because he (the messenger) is a Zionist.

JAZAKALLAHU KHAIR for spending time to reply me..
as you have sked about this sufi.., well...he is a strange sufi indeed...he occasionally prays but ALHAMDULILLAH recently he went for Umrah and after watching the Ka'bah live...SUMMA ALHAMDULILLAH he prays continuously..

By the way he never comment on others while they study Islam or go to lectures but from his words you can understand that he thinks that ALLAH TALA is omnipresent ASTHAGFIRULLAH...

My friend said when they were having Iftaar, this sufi told her that you can ask for help even from a bun you eat...!!!!!!!!!!!!!:angryred:

moreover, he is very much interested in finding the philosophy of Aboo jahl
OH MY ALLAH!!!!! i dont understand what he is up to and this is what I know about him prsonally for sure ...my poor friend...
