Greeting!

:bismillah:
O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah(swt) is the most righteous of you.
Indeed, Allah(swt) is Knowing and Acquainted.
[The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 49 (Al-Hujurat) : Verse 13]

True,
Human race indeed we are.
In Islam we have to believe;
that we are what we like to be look like,
if there's but any question or topic arise afterthat
it consider one personal view.

We doesn't need to matter or please
what other people should think what
we must look like.
Infact we must satisfy and confident
with ourself!

Being a good person
contribute and influence
to one look too!

Be grateful
and feel blessed to what Allah swt has rewarded upon us~Alhamdulillah!

~May Allah swt help and guide us~Amin!

Take care!
~Wassalam :)

4:1 (Asad) O MANKIND! Be conscious of your Sustainer, who has created you out of one living entity, and out of it created its mate, and out of the two spread abroad a multitude of men and women. [1] And remain conscious of God, in whose name you demand [your rights] from one another, and of these ties of kinship. Verily, God is ever watchful over you! - *!*!

Brother, I have said that for years. The only thing skin color indicates is how close to the equator your ancestors lived. That's it. It doesn't mean anything else. It has nothing to do with a person's intelligence or anything like that. It's just an indicator of how close to the equator your ancestors lived.

Assalaam walaikum,

To make everyone smile:

My oldest son is very light skinned. He is always questioned about what he is. He is very sensitive. He is shy. He is a big boy ( over six feet tall). He is always embarrassed going to a masjid for the first time. He gets the look.

When we were in California, the students at the high school looked at my younger son and automatically accepted him as one of the locals.

As for my older son..they asked if he was Dutch (?!!!). Luckily, The Samoan students took him as one of theirs and befriended him.

What's race gotta do with it?

Asalaamealykum warahmatulah wabarkatuhu

I totally agree there is only one race the human race. We are all the children of Adam (AS) and Hawwa, our skin tone should never matter because even Allah the All Mighty does not judge us by the tone of our skin, However He judges us based up on the content of our hearts.
In my life I have come across some very vain people (May Allah guide them ameen) who believe that physical beauty is all that counts! AstugfiruAllah Ya Rabi remove the veil from their hearts ameen......

Assalaam walaikum,

I am glad you brought up the notion of physical beauty. It is the variations in our skin tones that make us so beautiful. We are like the flowers. Even in the family of roses their are hues and fragrance that are very distinguishable yet they are all roses.
