wa alaykum salam brother,

lol, i hope you don't read too deeply into things. Allah knows best in all situations. Some duas are not accepted do to defects in the one asking, some duas are accepted but kept as a reserve for later, some duas are answered... and Allah knows best as to what happens. Our job is to ask of Him, and He knows best as to what is best for us.

It's just what was meant to be. And a soccer game is no big deal really....

But May Allah make things easy for us all.

:wasalam:

Here's my little story....I worked out real hard one summer, every single day, about 2-3 hours at the gym with the intention to prepare myself for a basketball tournament. I was probably in the best shape of my life at that time. One day before the tournament I started having back problems. I did not even play in the game. Even back then when I reflected, I just felt like it was meant to be. Maybe something more serious and terrible could of happened if I did play. I even tried to apply some Ben Gay, but that didn't even work. I rested my faith on Allah because He knew something that I did not know, for He is the All-Knower.
-----------------------------------------------------------
A story that may uplift you and make you smile, you may not see the wisdom now, you may not see it next year, you may NEVER see it, but when you do see it, you will be like ahh, Alhamdulillah

- Everything happens for a reason -

A story is told about a King in Africa who had a close friend that he grew up with. The friend had a habit of looking at every situation that ever occurred in his life (positive or negative) by remarking, "This is good, Allah Almighty knows best" One day the King and his friend were out on a hunting expedition. The friend would load and prepare the guns for the King. The friend had apparently done something wrong in preparing one of the guns, for after taking the gun from his friend, the King fired it and his thumb was blown off. Examining the situation the friend remarked as usual, "This is good! Allah Almighty knows best." To which the King replied, "No, this is NOT good!" and ordered his soldiers to put his friend into jail.

About a year later, the King was hunting in an area that he should have known to stay clear of. Cannibals captured the King and took him to their village. They tied his hands, stacked some wood, set up a stake and bound him to the stake. As they came near to set fire to the wood, they noticed that the King was missing a thumb. Being superstitious, they never ate anyone who was less than whole. So after untying the King, they chased him out of the village.

When the King reached his Palace, he was reminded of the event that had taken his thumb and felt remorse for his treatment of his friend. He went immediately to the jail to speak with his friend.

"You were right" the King said, "it was good that my thumb was blown off." And he proceeded to tell the friend all that had just happened. "I am very sorry for sending you to jail for so long. It was bad for me to do this." "No," his friend replied, "this is good...Allah Almighty knows best" "What do you mean, 'this is good'! How could it be good that I sent my friend to jail for a year?"

The King's friend replied: "Remember that the Almighty knows best and if I had NOT been in jail, I would have been with you on that hunting trip."

"He knows what is before them And what is behind them: And to Allah go back All questions (for decision)" Qur'an:Surah Al Hajj 22:76

Do Not Judge Things or Events by its Immediate Outcome! Allah Almighty, the Most High, is the All-Knowledgable, the All-Knower... He chooses to show us things... but sometimes... we are not shown the wisdom behind somethings. When we are confronted by circumstances that are not very pleasing.... we are quick to say: "This is not good..." but... is it really? We might not know the purpose behind it. It might turn to be a good thing.... thus.. .when we are faced with any situation... do not be too quick to judge... always remember.... this life is a test... the good and the bad.... and there is nothing that happens for no reason...our brains are just not gifted enough to understand these reasons yet. Everything happens to us for a reason.

Ah come on Shaheed lol, that's harsh. Anyway Muhammad, 3-1 isn't that bad. I remember playing in a football (or soccer)tournament at school. We more or less steamrolled all the opposition but the final was a totally different story. We got thrashed 7-1!!! The poor goalkeeper was in tears:)

They lost 3-0 not 3-1, it was a whitewash!!!

But its cool, you win some and you lose some!

And like the brother already explained, maybe this was for the better.
But it was Definitely Qadr!

And Abdul-Raheem, 7-1 lol. Wow, you dont know how many times im gonna keep mentioning that!

Team work

Salaams Brother,

You have to ask if it was you or the team that Allah was punishing, although that would have been answered if you had scored a goal at least.

Anyway, I don't question Allah when Ferrari don't win every race or drivers/Constructors championships, it just it wasn't their day or the "team" did not do its job properly.

For next time, train well and pray Allah gives you victory and keep on till you get to your goal.

Fi amanAllah

P.S. please pray for Ferrari too, even though they WILL both titles this year (even with Kimi) InshAllah

Motivation for next game

Salaams Brother, bit of motivation for you:

ONE PARAGRAPH THAT EXPLAINS LIFE!

Arthur Ashe, the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS which he got due to infected blood he received during a heart surgery in 1983. From world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed: "Why does GOD have to select you for such a bad disease"?

To this Arthur Ashe replied: The world over -- 50,000,000 children start playing tennis, 5,000,000 learn to play tennis, 500,000 learn professional tennis, 50,000 come to the circuit, 5000 reach the grand slam, 50 reach Wimbledon, 4 to semi final, 2 to the finals, When I was holding a cup I never asked GOD "Why me?". And today in pain I should not be asking GOD "Why me?"

Happiness keeps u Sweet,
Trials keep u Strong,
Sorrow keeps u Human,
Failure Keeps u Humble,
Success keeps u Glowing,
But only God Keeps u Going.....

Mohammed are you kidding me you let 3 goals in :astag:

JK well you need to see my new team ....i wont say what was the score during the first game this season...

Allah accept all the Dua'a except you make dua to harm some one, and he keep some dua'a for later and some du'aa accepted right a way...beside
As Umar Bin Khatab said All Dua are hanging between earth and sky unless you pray on the prophet peace be up on him before the Dua'a..

in the hadeeth of Faddaalah ibn ‘Ubayd: “When any one of you prays, let him start by praising Allaah, then let him send blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), then let him say du’aa’ however he wishes.”

hope next time u win and score :)_ inshallah
