Allah is sufficient.
A parent's love for his children is divinely ordained. Every parent sees his child as an extension of himself. He feels the affection in the innermost corners of his heart. He feels like laying down his life for the child. Most parents would gladly sacrifice their comfort for the well being of their children.
As deep as the love of a parent for his children is, it cannot be truly complete unless the child is given an opportunity to learn all the lofty virtues of Islam. Loving the child does not end in paying school fees, buying the best trendy clothes and shoes and going on holidays, it entails keeping in view the requirements of physical, moral, spiritual and intellectual growth.
A child who is introduced to the love of Allah and His Prophet early in life will have a better perspective of life, and have a more wholesome attitude to issues than his peers who do not have such an upbringing. In this light, every parent must create a conducive environment for the inculcation of Islamic moral values in their children right from a very young age.
