I had a conversation with my dad, and what he said broke me into tears. It made me think that one Dua I made for ,and waited for 2 years I believe , may not actually be answered. Not in this at least but I constantly asked Allah SWT not to replace this specfic Dua for anything else. Then went home I prayed like a non-necessary prayer and ask Allah SWT if he will ever answer my prayer of that specfic dua in this life and while I i was asking I broke into tears. I dont know maybe I might have expected too much. I thought I would dream about something and He'll somehow tell me wether or not He'll answer the way I wanted to be. But its now morning. And the only thing I remember that I was singing at the mosque. I think. I really feel like being left alone. I ask Allah SWT for Dua and I waited for 2 years and had High hopes it will be answered in this life and then the conversation I had with my dad made think my Dua wont be answered in this life... AND I REALLY REALLY wanted to be answered in this life and then Broke into tears and then AsK Allah SWT to give me a dream ( and did that while crying) wether or not He'll answer my Dua in this life and the way I wanted But then that request I dont think was granted. I feel like being left alone.

Asalamu alaykum, this is the second time i come upone a thread of yours that states this whole issue of your dua not being answered. I really don't know what to say. do you not believe that Allah swt will accept your dua? If he accepts your dua, it does not mean that it will always be the WAY YOU WANT IT TO BE. it becomes one of three: 1. your dua will be answered and you will be shown it. 2. your dua will be answered and may take a long time( however MANY YEARS ALLAH DECIDES, NOT JUST 2 OR EVEN 5 YEARS) or 3. your dua will be answered and it will be prevented with something that would've befallen you.
advice for you: from many of your threads, i notice that you really don't TRUST in Allah, because anyone who really and truly Trusts in Allah would not be counting the years that they think Allah swt has not answered their dua. You are trusting more in your fathers words, than that of Allah's. your father cannot guarantee you the future's outcome, he cannot decide for you whether your dua will be answered or not. so STOP depending on his WORDS. those of Allah's swt are Greater. the things that you are saying can place you in a great danger of sinning or wronging Allah swt. Allah deals with everyone justly - He is far from being *UNFAIR*. you need to have ikhlas(Sincerety) in your duas. you mustn't tie your dua with your father's words. He is a human being, and he errs BUT ALLAH DOES NOT. We all wish to have dreams - for example i REALLY REALLY WISH i could dream of the Prophet, and i make dua for that - HOWEVER that does not mean that it hasn't been answered just because i didn't SEE IT OR DREAM OF IT. maybe i'll dream of him at the age of 70 or 80....no one knows but when Allah knows i'm ready for it, then he'll grant me it or He may even prevent it with something bad that were happen to me, or even He may have exchanged that wish for paradise- THERE ARE SO MANY UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES BUT ALLAH DOES NOT HAVE TO TELL US THIS IF WE TRULY BELIEVE AND TRUST IN HIM.Akhi, wallahi you need to revive your iman, we are not little kids anymore. we are young adults and we need to realize that not everything we wish for is going to be IMMEDIATELY ANSWERED. We are not living in a fantasy world where genies grant our wishes, rather we are in a world filled with hardships an obstacles. we are at a time that we need to hang onto Allah's rope no matter how hot the rope is burning. Have faith that and trust in Allah that He will make the BEST DECISIONS FOR YOU. but the way you question His power and Will is enough to weaken your faith- so change your attitude towards Him. Allah swt said in a hadith Qudsi : "I am as my slave thinks of me". Meaning that if we think of Him as Merciful and Kind that He will indeed be that towards us. and that if we think of Him as Ungentle and we lose hope in Him, then he will be that way towards us. So change your attitude towards Allah swt. Love Him more than anyone else, Remember Him and He will Remember you, Call unto Him and He will answer your, Be truthful with Him and he will Love you....Discipline yourself in the way of Allah.

Wasalamu Alaykum Warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu.

to Allah we belong
yes brother, ur father could be very wrong. only Allah knows the future and Unseen. keep making Dua.

one of my Dua was answered after 4 yrs, other one took 3 yrs. and still i am making one Dua since 7 yrs while other one since 2004!

let u know brother, those of my wishes are very normal for other ppl.

also some of my Dua's were not answered but Allah took away the desire for those things frm my heart.

trust in Allah and keep making Dua.
Prophet :saw: said: “The dua’ of any one of you will be answered so long as he does not seek to hasten it, and does not say, ‘I made dua’ but I had no answer.’” (Bukhaari, Muslim).

may Allah help u.

Insh'Allah I will make du'a for you my brother
before ramadan I thought I would never be able to fast ramadan two days consecutively!!!!, but now I haven't broke my fasting and soon ramadan is over and it's laylatul Qadr. It's the first time i fast ramadan without breaking it.

All praise be to Allaah. I made du'a that he would gave me strength and sabr(patience) I never thought i would fast ramadan like the way im fasting right now. I thank Allaah many days. And alhamdulilah Allah helped me to get a room in school where I can pray without any problem. If we pray five times a day without delaying the prayers then Allaah will help and protect us.

I will soon after seven minutes make my wudu, eat my dates then pray and then finally praise Allaah for breaking my fast.
I don't have much time. But keep your trust in Allaah.

Sub7anAllaah what a great post by 'Palestine' Masha'Allah
Wasalam 3alaykum warahmatulahi wabarakatuhu.
