Few things I don't like Dubai is that in summer its very Hot. temperature reach 48 or 50 degree Celsius and my family and I living in Dubai since 1997 but can't get citizenship. every year or after every 3 year we have to renew our visa.

Dubai is the only city in the Arabian peninsula that has - and allows - gay bars to operate. I was warned from every direction that if I go there I would lose my Islam. Also most of those tall buildings were built on slave labor from men tricked to come work there from Bangladesh etc. I may go visit Dubai one day - or probably Abu Dhabi - but I would never, EVER live there by Allah.

Assalamu alaikum WRWB (May Allah (SWT) blessings & mercy be on all of you)
DanyalSAC - There are many places on this earth where such clubs are been operated and as you were reffering to Arabian Peninsula - Dubai is just openly performing actions which are against Islamic law but such actions are also been happening in other countries like Kuwait, Oman, etc but under the cover so you'll never know I'm in middle east from last 7 years I have seen the dark side of whole region and who do you think are calling workers from several parts and tricking them ???? Yes my friend unfortunately those are Arabs anyhow what I wanted to say is a Muslim never worry about challenges but rather have courage to face it and spread peace & love to this planet (mankind) We can also think in different way imagine if we get chance to be in Dubai how much more opportunity we'll get to do dawah as they're many people who're astray but above all the most amazing beauty of Dubai is it falls in Arabian Peninsula which is close to Haram and town of our beloved Prophet Muhammed (SAW) compare to Western world. It was just to show that everything is the way we look at but by any way if I have hurt you I'm sorry brother. Allah (SWT) knows the best.

middle east is not as rosy as they project, modern day arabs are far from Islam.
it were the true arabs at the time off Hazrath Umar(the name brings so much awe for him)who loved Islam now in these days not all but majority of arabs are far away from Islamic teachings.
I find that western muslims more religious and god fearing. even in sub continent though the love of Islam is there people here mix religion and culture.

I worked as tech support for a major American Telecommunications giant. I had the same job for about 12 years and worked for 3 different companies, since they kept changing names LOL

brother I can say this because on one hand everyday palestinens die and are massacred and their neighbours who are all arabs do not have any concern for them.
the so called kings and princess of the gulf state are busy ass licking americans.
but they are many good arabs as well to whom Islam is very dear.
again I really apppreciate the iranis though they are shia they made an effort and Allah granted them success in overthrowing the dictator Shah and having a democratic Islamic government.
