Happy Ramadan to all of my brothers and sisters in Islam!!!!

My question is about talking on the internet, watching tv or movies or talking on the telephone during Ramadan while we are fasting..........is this haram?

May Allah reward you for your knowledge and you are all in my fasting dua!

I pray Allah will accept all of our fasting and answer all of our prayers this Ramadan! Ameen

That's true..it depends on what you're going to watch..talk about..or browse on the net..

In Ramadhan keeping up with an Islamic demeanor is *even more* important and necessary..and inshallah if you already avoid what conflicts with that..then all it would take is more adherence to that demeanor with an intent to earn more ajer and perhaps even leaving Ramadhan with a stronger Islamic character and more heedness of what pleases Allah (swt)

May Allah make this month one of blessings..pardon..mercy..and success for you ukhti!

Jazakallah khairan for your reply but usually the only thing I go on the internet for is to look up information about Islam and to come on this website. As for tv I have limited that on my own when I came back from Morocco. The only programs I watch now are educational or the news!

I was asking because I didnt know if these things were acceptable or not. I want to do everything in the right way!

No sister, these things are not haram.
If the contents are bad then the use of these tools or things you mentioned would be un-Islamic and sinful all year round. But if they are good then you may even get ajar (rewards) instead.

as well as.. in all the worships , do as much as u can do and DONT endure more than what ur ability can endure
