Interest rate

Besm Allah,
Assalamou Alikom,
I have a degree in Mathematical finance and insurance. I work a lot with interest rate (advising, teaching, doing research, etc). I know perfectly that lending money with some interest or even receiving interest are strictly forbidden. I never used that knowledge to make money. But I'm still not sure if even teaching those things or advising others how to use them to make money is allowed.

What do you think about this situation ?

i am in about the same situation... i would like to study chartered financial analyst (CFA), but don't know if halal or haram career where one gives advices to buy/sell stocks (could be haram stocks, life insurance, or any other haram), OR any other CFA responsibilities as in research, ...

If I find out (if halal/haram and why), i'll let you know... please let me know if you find out...
