Assalamu'alaikum Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I am Barbara Cartabuke and appear on your site in the CNN article. I would like to clarify a statement in that article. I always felt that praying to Jesus and Mary was 'wrong for me'. I in no way am the judge of my Christian friends or anyone for that matter. I was interviewed for about 30 minutes and spoke about the beauty of Islam, the equity it gives to all, the beauty of people of different ethnic backgrounds coming together for the pleasure of Allah. Unfortunately none of this aired-they decided to just go with the one statement. I guess that is how the media works.
I hope to learn more about this web site and participate in a meaningful way.
May Allah guide and protect us on our paths.

and may allah strong your faith ,, keep in your mind Barbra this life short and you will see people enjoy and playing in this life with out thanks their creator who deserve to be worshiped , and be sincer to the almighty Allah and don't look to what people saying and don't look to some bad behaviors of some muslims because they don't pacticing Islam may allah pleased you and enter the paradise for our good deeds .

What more could we expect from CNN
CNN is the king of lies and insults
But, now, they have a bigger News Reader, Bush...
We get nothing by making friends with such entities, nor do we suffer from any diseases if we don't, just bombs and bullets in Ramadhan, and in the stomach of our pregnant sisters and the heads of freedom fighters...
That's why, if somebody could quote from Al Quran, that we should be alert with the enemies of Islam because, we could become only the scapegoat of the truth, their version of the truth... which equals lies...
Now, that we have a first party truth from you, sister, could all of us agree that CNN lies everyday, or insults Islam time in time out?

You should be congradulating this sister on becoming Muslim. We can't all do everything perfectly right away, I guess thats something only converts understand, since they have to experience it first hand

To avoid those kind of comment i tryed to send here the link in private message but i don t know why i can t send it. So i don t have any choice to post it publicly cuz it s my duty.

you are right, she is new, that s why i send her the link to learn. Maybe you think it s not the time to tell her. If i miss this occasion to tell her, what i will tell to allah the day of the judgement?????? it s my duty to tell her. I think the best way to welcome our sister is to teach her about islam.
PS: sister barbara is new in TTI not in islam, the time the doc is made in cnn until now is more than 8 month i think. And i am pretty sure that she emproved here knowlege in islam including hijab. And to avoid any doubt i still wnat to post the link about hijab
